HOW CAN I BECOME A FIELD INVESTIGATOR
Steps to becoming a Field Investigator:

Become a member of MUFON

Contact the State Director for your area

Purchase a copy of the MUFON Field Investigators manual

Study for the examination

Take the certification exam at MUFON University

Submit the required paperwork and photo for your I.D. Badge

Mentor with a licensed Filed Investigator
I SAW A UFO! HOW DO I REPORT IT?
All reports must be submitted to WWW.MUFON.COM as we do not take reports over the phone or by email. Additionally, we ask that any photos or videos that you submit not be altered, edited, enhanced, or cropped in any way.
If you have seen an unidentified light or unexplained object in the sky, it is helpful to check the location of your sighting against these tools which can pinpoint the locations of some of the most common misidentifications.
